In 1923 Stanley Hubbard formed one of the nation's first radio networks - between Minneapolis and Chicago - by transmitting over rented telegraph lines. While technology has changed dramatically over the decades, Hubbard Broadcasting and its flagship station, AM 1500 KSTP, have remained true to serving audiences with a foundation of programming that relates to listeners. The Hubbard Radio Network (HRN) was created in August of 1999 at the insistence of regional radio broadcasters who recognized the amazing success of AM 1500 KSTP. It was decided to make the award winning programming available to listeners throughout the region. Today, through the Hubbard Radio Network, top-rated programs are available to stations throughout the region. The Hubbard Radio Network's mission is to distribute quality radio programming that targets listeners, at the same time offering regional and local advertisers the results and success talk radio can provide. |
